Jewelry school is full of surprises, and sometimes those surprises smell like a barbecue. During Autumn, I tackled the challenge to create a pendant made with deer antler. From navigating clouds of bone dust to learning the 'Art of Depth' from my teacher, this project was a lesson in constant adaptation. Autumn in Japan feels like stepping into a dream woven from gold and crimson threads. At Showa Kinen Park’s Night Illumination, the gingko trees glowed like lanterns and the maple leaves burned bright against the night sky, reminding me why I fall in love with this season every year. Surrounded by quiet crowds and shimmering reflections on the lake, I found inspiration for my latest autumn jewelry designs.

I fell in love with jewelry during lockdown, turning beads and wire into tiny pieces of magic.
